J.  C. M. League  Rules   — Bowling

 

1. Teams shall consist of SIX players.

2. All clubs and players must be registered with the County.

3. Games shall be up to 21 points, and played in accordance with rules of the BCGBA.

4. Both Home and Away players will be allowed 10 minutes "roll up" before the commencement of the match.  Rolling up after the commencement of the match will result in disqualification of the player.

5. All games must be played on the agreed dates, unless cancellation has been agreed by both clubs, and must be played within 28 days. Failure to do so, will result in the match being conceded, by the team calling off the original fixture.

6. Competition matches will be 21 up.

7. Competition matches must be played on the set dates. unless the organiser in charge considers the green unfit to play.

8. A player can only play for one club in a season, but subject to rule 9. 

9. A player changing clubs during the season, will be allowed to play for his new club, providing the change is before 31 st MAY. After this date, special approval by the committee officers is required.

10. Clubs with more than one team, may use their players in either team, but they can only play once in any weeks fixtures. lii the League merits, players scores will only count in the team they play for. 

11. Should a player/s fail to put in an appearance, or refuse to play, his opponent shall be awarded the match.

12. Should a team fail to field the full commitment of players, their opponents receive a “walkover”, the team sheet shall read 21 — 0 in their favour, however for recording the result in the merit tables, the score shall read 21 — 15

13. In any match which is totally conceded, the winners will be awarded the average score of all matches, on the date of the cancellation.

14. Disputes that cannot be amicably resolved, must be reported in writing, by both captains to the joint council, who will give their ruling.
