Short Mat Bowling
Photos taken at Sneyd Community Centre our home venue for Short Mat Bowls during the winter (October to March).
Our mats and storage trolleys were obtained through fundraising and a grant from WHG, for which we are very thankful. Other items such as the fenders and block were made by team members.
If you are interested in joining us then either send us an email or turn up to Sneyd on a Thursday morning during winter and have a chat with one of our committee members.
Macmillan Nurses Coffee Morning
Leamore & Blakenall Senior Citizens Bowls Team hosted a cake and coffee morning at Leamore Park on Thursday 26 September 2013 in order to raise funds for MacMillan Nurses.
The bowls team held a friendly match followed by an opportunity for members of the public to have a try at bowls .
There was a raffle and table top sale for jigsaws and books. People were welcome to join in a game, or just watch and enjoy.
